Simply search for a word in the app, view its definition, and tap the star icon to save it to your collection. You can find all your saved words in the "My Words" section.
Yes! Once you've saved words, you can access them offline. The dictionary lookup feature requires an internet connection, but all your saved words, notes, and progress are available offline.
You can create custom collections to organize your words. Tap on "Collections" in the app, create a new collection, and add words to it. You can also add tags and notes to individual words for better organization.
The quiz feature tests your knowledge of saved words. It uses spaced repetition to help you remember words better. You can customize quiz settings, including the number of words per quiz and difficulty level.
Yes! Go to Settings and select "Export Data" to download your saved words in a portable format. This is useful for backing up your vocabulary or transferring it to another device.
Swipe left on any word in your collection and tap "Delete," or open the word and tap the delete icon. Don't worry—you can always save it again later if needed.
No account is required to use the core features of Monologue. Your words are stored locally on your device. However, creating an account enables cloud sync across multiple devices.
Create an account in the app settings, then enable "Cloud Sync." Your saved words, collections, and progress will automatically sync across all devices where you're signed in.
Yes, your data is encrypted and stored securely. By default, all your words are stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
First, check your internet connection. If you're online, try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, try searching for a different word to see if it's specific to one word or a general issue.
If you have cloud sync enabled, your words should sync automatically. If not, check if you're signed in to the correct account. If you're using local storage only, try restarting the app. If the issue continues, contact support with your device information.
Try closing other apps to free up memory. If you have many saved words, consider organizing them into collections. You can also try clearing the app cache in your device settings or reinstalling the app (make sure to export your data first if you're not using cloud sync).
Some very rare, slang, or newly coined words may not be in our dictionary database. Try checking the spelling or searching for a similar word. If you believe a word should be included, please contact support and we'll look into adding it.
